To publish an app on the App Store, you must establish an Apple developer account. So let’s go through some easy steps to register for an Apple Developer Account
Steps
Step 1: Start your journey to create an Apple developer account by navigating to https://developer.apple.com/programs/enroll/
Step 2: Click the “Start Your Enrollment” Button and go ahead.
Step 3: Then, click ‘Create Apple ID’ to create Apple ID or Sign in using an existing Apple ID and proceed further.
Step 4: Review the Apple Developer Agreement, and once you’re satisfied, acknowledge it by checking the box and then click the ‘Submit’ button located in the bottom right corner.
Step 5: In the ‘Select Entity Type’ section, you are required to choose ‘Company/Organization’ from the dropdown menu and then proceed by clicking ‘Continue.’
Step 6: Now, in the ‘Tell us about your organization’ section, you should provide your organization’s details. This includes your official company name and the D-U-N-S number, which you can find in the DUNS confirmation email you received. What is D-U-N-S?, get more details of it.
Step 7: After that, you’ll need to provide your personal contact details for your Apple Developer account.
Step 8: Now, confirm that you’ve read and agreed to the terms and conditions, then click on ‘Continue.’
Step 9: Please, double-check that all the information you’ve provided is accurate, and then click ‘Submit.’
Step 10: Apple will contact you within 24-48 hours, either by phone or email, to confirm your enrollment.
Step 11: Once Apple contacts you to confirm your enrollment, you’ll later get an email asking you to pay the annual fee, which may be around $99.
Step 12: Go back to your Apple Developer dashboard, finish filling in your billing details, and click ‘Continue’ to finalize the payment and set up your Apple Developer account.
Once your Apple Developer account is set up, it may take about 24 hours to process your payment. After that’s done, you can easily invite your developer team to access your account!
Invite App For Store to Your Apple Developer Account
If your Apple Developer Account type is Individual (Non-Organisation) then you can’t share your Apple Developer Account with AppForStore. In such a case please contact your app manager.
If your Apple Developer Account type is organisation Follow the simple steps to invite Appforstore to your Apple developer account
- First, Go to your App Store Connect account, With the URL: https://appstoreconnect.apple.com/login
- Choose ‘User and Access’ from the top of the menu bar
- Now, click on ‘+’ and fill the below fields,
- First Name: ( Enter your developer’s name)
- Last Name: Team
- Email: [email protected]
- Role: ‘Admin’ with access to all additional resources
4. Finally, tap on the ‘invite’ button and complete the process
